Welcome to my Vizsla page!

Back in the year 2001 on a nice August day, a beautiful pup was born... and little did he know how much change and joy he would bring to a violinist hundreds of miles away! This page is dedicated to the Vizsla breed and to a wonderful Vizsla... Rusty Ferreira!

Rusty (right) was our introduction to the Vizsla breed. Intelligent, unstoppable work ethic, graceful, a loyal Daddy's boy. Rusty was everything I had hoped he would be and much more. From hunting, flyball, agility, swimming, obedience, or just being my best friend, no matter what was asked of him he gave it his all. He is dearly missed and will always hold a very special place in our hearts! I have had a few dogs in my lifetime, actually, I was blessed with a few very good four legged friends! But my life was definitely changed in 2001 when I met and brought home Rusty! It was the first time I was introduced to the Vizsla breed and it changed my life forever. Rusty lived with me for 8 blessed years, but unfortunately his life was cut short due to cancer and passed away July 3rd 2009. Rusty made me a Vizsla admirer and sponsor for life!

On August 23rd, my life was once again blessed with the arrival of Oszkar Ferreira, my new Vizsla pup (left) that I got from my friend "Aunt" Ruth Sinclair-Stephens, owner of Heelmark Vizslas in Plainfield, CT.
