Peter Ferreira performs "Kashmir" with his band, originally a song by the famous English rock band Led Zeppelin from their sixth album Physical Graffiti, released in 1975. It was written by Jimmy Page and Robert Plant (with contributions from John Bonham) over a period of three years, with the lyrics dating back to 1973.
Kashmir is a fun piece to perform and has always won the attention of the audience especially when seen performed on a classic instrument like the violin with a band
accompanying it.
Although classically trained, Peter's crossover performances include music from the classical masterpieces to pop, rock, world music and Latin repertoire to name a few and as opted to "blend" the new and the old together. He is highly regarded as a virtuoso soloist on a symphonic stage, but equally as comfortable in
front of a club audience with is band behind him.
From J.S. Bach to Piazzolla, Peter's seasoned golden tone performances have an abundant hot Mediterranean influence, sure to captivate the audience!
